Amanda L. Molder, Ph.D.

Hello! I am a social scientist who researches environmental, science, risk, and visual communication. I focus on topics like climate change, carbon management, wildfires, and prescribed fire. I examine how communication impacts audience’s attitudes, emotions, behaviors, and policy preferences.

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher and research project administrator for the Climate and Carbon Management Initiative with the Wrigley Institute for Environmental and Sustainability at the University of Southern California. I have received a B.A. at UC San Diego, M.S. at Colorado State University, and Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I reside in Los Angeles, CA.
